251 Years of Service. 251 Years of Sacrifice. 251 Years of Strength.

Today, I proudly celebrate the 251st birthday of the United States Army.
For nearly a decade, the Army wasn’t just where I worked. It was where I learned resilience, leadership, discipline, and what it means to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with people who become family.
The uniforms eventually come off, but the lessons, the bonds, and the commitment to something greater than ourselves never do.
To every Soldier who has served, is serving, or will serve: thank you. We are part of a legacy that stretches far beyond us.
And if there’s one thing the Army taught me, it’s this:
Your voice matters. Your story matters. Your experiences matter.
That’s exactly why I wrote UnMute Yourself.
Happy 251st Birthday, Army.
This Soldier is still standing. Still serving. Just on a different mission now.
