Waves, Wind, & the Final Word

Psalms 22–23 keeps crossing my path for a reason. In this season of growth, I am reminded that God did not remove the waves and the wind when Peter stepped out. He did not erase the conditions. He called Peter to walk in them.

The same is true for us. God has the final say. He orders our steps. When we guard our minds and refuse fear, doubt, anxiety, and worry, we make room for His promises to show up in real time. Even in the valley, He is with us. Even in the storm, He sustains us.

And Scripture gives the strategy for our minds. In 2 Corinthians 10:5 we are told to pull down false arguments and take every thought captive so it obeys Christ. That means fear does not get to script your next move. Doubt does not get to direct your day. Anxiety does not get to define your assignment. You choose agreement with God and then you walk.

To the wives and mothers rebuilding who you are and what your family becomes next, hear this. Your steady steps in the middle of chaos are shaping your legacy. Lift your eyes. Keep walking. My God is bigger than your enemy.
