Gratitude Changes Everything

People often ask me how I've changed so much from year to year, and even more over the decades.

The answer is simple.

I intentionally distance myself from people who check my cup to see if I have more than they do, and stay close to those who check to see if I have enough.

I immersed myself in books that challenged my thinking, replacing a scarcity mindset with one of abundance, gratitude, and possibility.

I changed the way I speak to myself, because our words become the architecture of our lives.

I stopped giving my time to things that didn't align with my purpose. We only get so many days above ground. Every distraction steals time from the life we're called to build.

Most importantly, I know why I'm doing all of this.

I'm building a legacy for my children and for every person watching who needs to see someone who looks like them boldly pursue their dreams. I gave myself permission after watching other courageous women unmute their voices. Now, I hope my journey gives someone else permission to do the same.

Today, I can honestly say I'm grateful for every storm I've walked through. Without them, I wouldn't be the woman I am becoming.

If you needed this reminder today, keep going.

There is purpose in the pain.

Rainbows only come because there was first a storm.

Stay grateful. Stay faithful. And never stop believing in what's possible.

P.S. If this message resonates, keep an eye out for my upcoming book, *UnMute Yourself™**. I can't wait to share it with you.*
