The Climb Is Worth the View

From the bottom, the mountain looks impossible—its edges sharp, its trails hidden in shadow. You wonder: Is it even worth it?

Then you climb.

Not all at once.

Sometimes you crawl.

Sometimes you slip.

Sometimes you sit with scraped knees and heavy lungs, praying for the will to stand again.

But when you lift your eyes and look around, you notice something:

The higher you go, the clearer everything becomes.

Up here, you can see farther.

You can see patterns in the chaos.

You see where you’ve been—and why it was necessary.

Some will tell you to stay low. That the view isn’t worth the bruises. That safety is the goal.

But I don’t believe we were built for the ground. I believe we were designed for pursuit—of truth, purpose, and the best vantage point life can offer.

I’m not writing this from the summit. I’m still climbing.

Still learning to love the height, the wind, the echoes that remind me I’m not alone on this mountain.

Every scar is a story.

Every step is a declaration.

And every elevation reveals another reason to keep going.

🌄 So I ask you—are you pausing out of fatigue… or have you mistaken the base for your final destination?

📚 I share more of this journey in my upcoming book, written for those brave enough to seek the high places.

🌱 I climb not because it’s easy, but because it’s worth it.
