The right "no" can change your life.

A few weeks ago, The Larry Steinhouse Show told me no.
Not rudely.
Not dismissively.
Just honestly.
Most people hear "no" and stop.
I heard, "Not this way. Not yet."
Instead of taking it personally, I went back to work.
Today, I had the opportunity to show Larry what his "no" produced.
That conversation became the blueprint for a sponsorship program and nonprofit dedicated to helping women UnMute their voices and pursue the purpose that's been inside them all along.
One thing I appreciated most was Larry's transparency and curiosity. After reading his new book, Selfishly Generous, I realized the title isn't just a book, it describes how he lives. I respect that.
This experience reminded me of something I try to live by:
Give people space.
Give people grace.
You never know what they're carrying or whether the timing is simply wrong.
Stay coachable.
Pivot when needed.
Burn through ideas that don't work.
Take action.
Protect your momentum.
The mission has to be bigger than your feelings.
Sometimes "no" doesn't mean never.
Sometimes it simply means...
Not right now.
