THREE FEET FROM GOLD… OR DIGGING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION?

There is a thin line between perseverance and misalignment.

Between grit…

and ego.

We’re told not to quit.

We’re warned about the sunk cost fallacy.

We’re reminded breakthroughs often sit just beyond the next strike.

But the woodpecker isn’t pecking to prove a point.

He’s pecking with purpose.

If there’s no food in the tree, he doesn’t debate mindset.

He adjusts position.

Preparedness sharpens instinct.

Mindset builds endurance.

But clarity determines direction.

Even a woman deeply anchored in her why can work relentlessly toward the wrong outcome.

So here’s the real question:

Are you committed to the mission… or attached to the method?

Answer that honestly.
