UNMUTE YOURSELF: KNOW WHEN TO OBSERVE… AND WHEN TO SPEAK

You don’t really see people when things are going right.
You see them when they don’t get what they wanted from you.
In that moment… you either observe or react.
Sometimes it’s smart to stay quiet and gather information.
Other times… your silence becomes permission.
Permission for overstepping.
Permission for disrespect.
That’s the line.
You start questioning yourself:
“Am I overreacting?”
“Should I let it go?”
Meanwhile… their behavior gets louder
because your voice got quieter.
Observation builds awareness.
Expression establishes boundaries.
You need both.
Stay silent too long… you absorb what you should correct.
React too fast… you lose your position.
So decide:
Will you keep observing…
or will you raise the standard?
“I’m not available for that.”
“That doesn’t work for me.”
No over-explaining. No apology for clarity.
Unmuting yourself isn’t about talking more.
It’s about refusing to stay quiet when silence costs you.
My upcoming book Unmute Yourself is for the woman who’s done observing… and ready to speak with clarity.

You don’t say it… they don’t respect it.
