Weather or Warfare? Guard Your Heart Either Way. 🌧️⚔️

This morning’s message at church landed right on time

Yesterday, a friend sent me a meme that said, “The test of loving like Christ is not loving Jesus. It’s loving Judas.”

Then today’s reminder followed: “It’s not always warfare. Sometimes it’s just weather. Don’t give the enemy all the power or credit.”

That stopped me.

I realized how often I’ve given the enemy credit for moments that were really meant to shape people  and to shape my response to them .

Not every hard season is an attack.

Some are lessons .

Some are growth .

Some are simply life doing what life does.

No matter how you feel you’re being treated, look for ways to love people through their process . Compassion is never wasted. Jesus knew betrayal was coming and kept him close anyway . That alone tells me there is always a bigger purpose unfolding, even when it hurts .

Don’t let the actions of others harden your heart .

Don’t let temporary weather change who you are becoming .

Protect your character. Protect your calling.
