Are you so consumed by what youāre going through that youāve stopped going by your name š¤
Instead, you answer to the affliction.
āIām depressed.ā
āIām anxious.ā
āIām overwhelmed.ā
But that is not who you are.
I am His child š
I am not my diagnosis š
I am not my emotions on their loudest day šŖļø
I am faithful āļø
I am grateful š¤
Hereās the lesson that met me in church this Sunday and stayed with me long after the doors closed āŖ
If your faith is strong enough to believe He created you, it must be strong enough to believe He can steady any situation and calm any storm šā”ļøšļø
Donāt be so blinded by what youāre walking through that you forget who you belong to š
Because if you donāt learn to enjoy the moments between the problems, problems will be all you ever see š±
And for the women carrying families, careers, callings, and the weight of legacy on their shoulders, this reminder matters š¼š©āš§āš¦š
Your identity is not negotiable š
Your faith is not fragile š”ļø
And your future is bigger than the season youāre in š
More of this perspective lives inside my upcoming book, Unbound: Redefining Your Purpose, Potential, and Possibility šāØ, for the woman ready to reclaim who she is and who she was always meant to become.
Stay anchored ā
Stay faithful š
Stay present šæ
