Happy Veteran’s Day to my co-author and sister-in-arms, Shirley Baez, and to every Veteran who has served and continues to serve.
I’m sharing her post to highlight the mission she’s carrying forward through the Normandy 2026 Women’s D-Day Jump — a historic moment that honors the legacy and resilience of women who have worn the uniform.
This is more than an event; it’s a testament to every woman who has sacrificed her sleep, her mental and physical health, and time raising her family for the freedoms we all enjoy.
Shirley’s example carves out space and maintains representation for women who served in silence, strength, and sacrifice. She continues to lead, to teach, and to inspire others through her work and example.
You can catch her in her Netflix documentary BLK OPS: The Veterans History Project, and explore her book, Daily Leadership Journal, which reflects her continued commitment to service and leadership development.
Let’s rally behind this mission by donating to help cover expenses and sharing the opportunity to witness history in the making.
To every Veteran — thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your continued impact.
